Hi!
My name is Viktoryia Kryvanos, I am a Motion Graphics Designer/Animator based out of Illinois.
I started as a traditional artist, as far back as I can remember. I've always been amazed and in love with the human form, especially people's eyes and faces. I'm that person who meets someone and greets them with a "Wow, love your eyebrows, they'd be fun to draw!" (True story).
This love for art transitioned into the computer realm, I studied at DePaul University, completing my Bachelor of Arts in Animation for Cinema. I became proficient in the Adobe suite - Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash, After Effects, Premiere. As well as learning and honing my 3D knowledge, first with Autodesk Maya, and then with Cinema 4D, which is what I mainly work in now. I'm well versed in the entire 3D production pipeline - modeling, rigging, texturing, lighting and rendering. I love Redshift, it's definitely my go - to renderer. Currently, I'm expanding my skills by learning Unreal engine and getting familiar with realtime rendering!
I worked in Chicago for 3 years at a post-production house, Utopic, under an amazing mentor who really threw me headfirst into the industry. I loved this, it's stressful at first, but you end up learning at hyper speed. I quickly learned that I work well in chaos! I eventually moved from Utopic to freelance, I built my own PC for my home and embarked on the new scary but exciting journey! Freelance gave me the opportunity to make magic with multiple companies around the city, as well as remotely with teams from out of state. Including Next/Now - experiential work, as well as Maestro health, Jumpsport, Wondr Health, and many more.
I stayed in freelance for a year before joining the Energy BBDO team as their Senior Motion Designer on the Flare Studio team in 2019. We've been cranking out magnificent work ever since, working with amazing brands like Aleve, Flintstones, Jack Daniels, Herradura, Raid, Alka Seltzer, Extra, Orbit, and many many more.
